2018 Argentine Open Fixtures Announced
The 2018 Argentine Open will kick-off from Saturday, November 10. The Argentine triple crown contenders will have one week off betweeen the Hurlingham open finals this Saturday and the start of the Argentine Open next Saturday. The Argentine Open is going to be a long stretched tournament from the opening game next Saturday in Palermo until the final on December 15. Defending champion La Dolfina and their everlasting rivals, Ellerstina, have a bye the first weekend.
The Argentine Open Championship is the most important international championship at club level. It has taken place every year since 1893 at the Campo Argentino de Polo, Buenos Aires. It was known as the “River Plate Polo Championship” from 1893 to 1923. The handicap of the teams participating in the Argentine Open is between 28 - 40 goals.
