The 5th Luxembourg Polo International is going to take place from 7th-9th July at the Polo Club Luxembourg.

The 5th Luxembourg Polo International is going to take place from 7th-9th July at the Polo Club Luxembourg. The polo matches will run from 14:30 on Friday to 15:30 on Sunday. It is going to take place in less than seven days, so better be geared up! There will be 6 teams, 2 junior teams, 11 polo matches, more than 2000 spectators, 80 polo horses, and lots of more amazing entertainment waiting for you!

The Luxembourg Polo Club is located in Rue des Celtes, Luxembourg. Founded in 2004, in 2014, the Polo Club celebrated its 10th anniversary. On the occasion of this jubilee, the club prepared a number of exciting tournaments as well as an exclusive program of social events. During this year, the season started with the Season Opening Chukker from April 26th to 27th.

Since its establishment in 2004, the Polo Club Luxembourg has developed quickly. During its first years, the club neither had polo players nor fields and started as a community of polo enthusiasts travelling from one polo event to the other, all over Europe and up to India. In 2008, the club became active. Today, it owns two fields, one stick and ball field, it has numerous polo players and horses, coaches and grooms. The polo school for up-and-coming talents also shows what the club has accomplished during the last ten years.

The Luxembourg Polo International has always been an event close to the clubs heart, always attracting millions. There will be six polo teams with team handicaps from 0 to +2 with players from Luxembourg, Germany, France, Ireland, Great Britain and Argentina, plus three kids polo teams from Luxembourg and France, who will play more than ten polo matches over three days in the 5th “Luxembourg Polo International” cup and the 2nd “Luxembourg Kids Polo International” cup.

There will be a bar for drinks, a BBQ, VIP catering, entertainment shows, and catering with food and drinks.

It would be a wonderful event to attend, and a delight for families and persons of all ages to participate as well as spectate the matches. You should definitely be there if you want to enjoy your weekend and spend some time with the young ones!
