Announcing The Draws And Fixtures Of Silver Cup 2020

The Dubai Polo Gold Cup is all set to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Silver Cup tournament. The 18 goal handicap tournament will be celebrated under the Patronage of HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai. The action will go live from 24th January, where after the finals of the Cup will get into action on 7th February 2020.

The six teams that will be participating for the Silver Cup 2020 are;
AM Polo Team | Patron: Sheikha Alya Al Maktoum
Dubai Wolves | Patron: Habtoor Al Habtoor
Ghantoot Polo Team | Patron: HH Sheikh Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan
Habtoor Polo Team | Patron: Mohammed Al Habtoor
UAE Polo Team | Patron: HH Sheikha Maitha Bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum
Zedan Polo Team | Patron: Amr Zedan

The Dubai Polo Gold Cup series has five tournaments under it, one of which is the Silver Cup (18 goals). Rest of the four tournaments are as follows:
Polo Masters Cup (6-8 goal)
Standard Chartered Gold Cup (18 goal)
Dubai Challenge Cup (10 goal)
Dubai Cup (6-8 goal)

At the announcement of Silver Cup 2020, Mohammed Al Habtoor, founder of Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series and also the patron of Habtoor Polo team said, “ We are proud to have reached another milestone as we celebrate a decade of high-goal polo in the UAE with the Silver Cup tournament. This achievement would not have been possible without the support of sponsors, team patrons, and the city of Dubai.” This year, the Silver Cup 2020 will be witnessing a new team, the AM Polo team under the patronage of Sheikha Alya Al Maktoum. At this, Mohammed Al Habtoor added, “I am excited to have six participating teams at the Silver Cup 2020.
