Audi A5 Range Launch Celebration

The date 5th of October, 2017 marked its paramount with the launch of the Audi A5 range adding to the product portfolio of the German luxury car manufacturer and the member of Volks Wagon group. The launch event was held at the Sofitel Hotel in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai with celebrities adding to the glamour of the ravishing event. The kick-start of the occasion took place with the A5 Cabriolet entering the stage having Ileana D’ Cruz in it; enhancing the beauty of the automobile even more.

The stage was accompanied by the Audi India Head Rahil Ansari and Audi’s race car driver Aditya Patel joining along with the other two car models A5 Sport back/ Brat pack and S5 Sport Back priced at Rs. 67.15 lakh for Cabriolet, Rs.54.02 lakh and Rs. 70.60 lakh respectively. After the photo shoot Ileana and Rahil discussed about the cars’ features specifying the A5 Sport back and A5 Cabriolet coming with 2-litre diesel engine and S5 being powered by 3-litre petrol engine.

At the launch, Audi India head Rahil Ansari said, “The introduction of the Audi A5 range has further strengthened our product portfolio. We will continue to offer the best of luxury mobility solutions in India by introducing new models in exciting body types and by entering into new segments.” Audi India has given some nice nicknames to the three models which are the Progressive A5, the Sporty Icon S5 and the Seducer A5 Cabriolet.

The stage was even shared by VJ Nikhil Chinapa with some fun talks and about the new Audi A5, followed by the ramp walk where Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Shruti Hasan and Ileana D’ Cruz walked in the high-end dresses of the designers Shantanu and Nikhil. It was a fabulous launch celebration that took the gaze of many media channels and reporters as well.

Talking about the cars the S5 Sport Back comes with a lip spoiler, air diffuser and a quad pipe exhaust set up. The second generation Audi A5 is based on the styling cues as also technology from the Audi A4. The new A5 has features of a stretched wheelbase, short overhangs, wraparound domed hood, and a single frame grille. Also one of the major design highlights of the car is the new bonnet which comes with a bold character lines that give the car an imposing look.

Audi has finally launched the second generation A5 in India with a grand celebration at the launch party setting up an excitement among the crowd and leaving the audience mesmerized till the end.
