BARODA CUP 2017: DAY 2

T

he second day of the Baroda Cup featured four matches at three different locations. The first match of the day, held at Army Equestrian Center had Rajnigandha Achievers competing against Hyderabad Chaughan. The match saw both the teams playing with vigor, however, Rajnigandha Achievers managed to win narrowly by a score of 12-10.

Match two of the day saw Ascension beating Meerut Polo by a whopping 13 to 6 ½. The match began with Ascension taking the lead of 2 goals in the very first chukker. While Meerut Polo did attempt at answering their opponents lead, they failed to do so as they could only score 1 goal in the second chukker, while Ascension not only maintained but also adjunct to their lead.

The next match at Jaipur Polo Grounds was between Jindal Panther & Garcha Hotels. The high-intensity match between the two seasoned team started out with Jindal Panther taking a lead. However, by second chukker Garcha Hotel almost equalized the scores out at 5-4. Though they could not maintain their recovery as Jindal Panther outscored their opponents in the subsequent chukkers. The final score totaled to a 9-7 ½ in favor of Jindal Panther.

The final match of the day, between Sahgal Stud & Sona Polo, that was held at Jindal Farms saw Sahgal Stud owning the game and defeating Sona Polo by 9-6.
