Tortugas Open 2019
The Tortugas Open 2019 was the first stage of Triple Crown. After a series of participation from various players and team, and shifts in dates due to the condition of the grounds, the finals of the Tortugas Open 2019 sprang into action on 15th November 2019. The first level of the Triple Crown had Ellerstina and La Dolfina against each other. While the finals of the 79th Tortugas open was still at stake, the players had moved ahead in the Triple Crown and were playing at the 126th RUS Hurlingham Open. In the finals of the Tortugas Open, Ellerstina took revenge from La Dolfina where the latter team had defeated them in the decisive match of the 126th RUS Hurlingham Open. With this, the team Ellerstina secured the title at 12 goals to 11, after breaking the six years of hegemony of the Canuelas in Tortugas Open.
The ceremony of the day went ahead with the President of the CC Turtles, Mr Francisco E Dorignac speech and delivery of the Cup. The MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS was awarded to Nicolas Pieres; FINAL SCORER was rewarded to Facundo Pieres at 6 goals; BEST PLAYER HORSE was destined to Irenita Acertada played by Pablo Mac Donough and BEST REGISTERED PLAYER PRODUCT went to Open Biznieta played by Nicolas Pieres.
126th RUS Hurlingham Open
The 126th RUS Hurlingham Open went into action for the finals on the 9th November 2019. On court 1 of Palermo, before 6,000 spectators, the 126th RUS Open of the Hurlingham Club kick-started. The finals were all about La Dolfina Sancor Seguros vs Ellerstina Johor against each other. After three years of hegemony of the Zeta in Hurlingham, the triumph belonged to La Dolfina Sancor Seguros, by 16-13. The award for the finals were given to Juan M. Nero for Javier Novillo Astrada Award MVP and Fair Play Award to the Polo Knight, Gonzalo Pieres
126th Open Argentine Polo HSBC
La Dolfina Sancor Seguros never gets tired of winning. On Saturday, in the legendary court of Palermo, the team won the 126th Argentine Polo Open HSBC, the world’s top interclub event in which 10 teams participated between 28 to 40 valuation goals. The tournament comprised important players from Argentina, South Africa and Uruguay.
In a closely fought match, the group of Cañuelas, who had already stayed with Hurlingham Open, defeated Ellerstina Johor, winner of the Tortugas Open by 16-12, to achieve their seventh consecutive title at the Palermo Open.
