he finals for the BMW IPA National Polo Championship had the Jindal Panther and Sahara Warriors Achievers competing for the winning title. Naveen Jindal (0), Goffredo R Cutinelli (4+), Shamsheer Ali (6+) & Simran Shergill (6+) were playing for Jindal Panther and against them were Bhawani Singh Kalvi (+2), Matthew Perry (+6), Abhimanyu Pathak (+5) & Satinder Garcha (+3).

The match saw Jindal Panther starting out strong gaining a 3 goal lead in the first chukker whilst preventing Sahara Warriors Achievers from scoring a single goal. The second chukker saw Sahara Warriors Achievers scoring its opening goal in a 40-yard penalty taken by Abhimanyu Pathak. The match saw Abhimanyu Pathak taking all but one goal, which was scored by Matthew Perry, for Sahara Warriors Achievers. Jindal Panther however progressively outscored their opponents and finally emerged victorious with a two-goal lead and a score of 10-8.

Score progression for the match went as: 3-0; 4-1; 5-4; 7-5; 7-6; 10-8.
