The match started off when the umpire released the ball. Amidst the buzz of the cheerful and enthusiastic audience, the first match of the tournament was lovingly welcomed. The moves and hits of the players displayed their homework. The match had its first goal by Phil Seller for Madon Polo. For team Sphiro, Dhruvpal Godara took the charge and bagged in the equalising goal, changing the scoresheet to 1 all. Raghav Rao followed the lead and got the leading goal for team Sphiro. With this the first chukker ended.

The second chukker came to life with the booming shot by Dhruvpal Godara, getting the third goal for team Sphiro. The ponies seemed to be fully supporting their players and soon, K. S. Rathore was seen with the ball taking it towards the goalpost and changed their score to 2. Without wasting time, Dhruvpal Godara bagged two goals back to back, and the scoreboard now reflected 5-2. The last goal for the chukker was scored by Phil Seller and with this the chukker rested.

The third chukker did not see any goals by team Sphiro, despite excellent sportsmanship, and was more fruitful for team Madon Polo who were successful in getting the fourth and fifth goal which was an equaliser and the scores for both the teams now reflected 5. With this interesting twist the chukker ended and the game moved towards its final and deciding chukker.

Stepping into the fourth chukker, the match was in its deciding phase with 7 minutes left in deciding the fate for the first match of the Silver Stick Tournament. Ponies were floating on the ground and K.S Rathore bagged the leading goal for Madon Polo. Dhruvpal Godara with full energy was able to successfully get two back to back goals for team Sphiro and the scoreboard came to a rest with a score of 7-6. Team Sphiro won with a score of 7-6.

Bake House was given an advantage of 2.5 goals.

 

 

 

 

The thriiling day began with the ponies chasing the ball across the field. It was a complete scene of anticipation and true sportsmanship though with a zeal to win. The first chukker opened the account for team Los Polistas and got the lead by three goals, where all the three goals were bagged by Samir Suhag , while on the other hand team Bake House still lurked on the advantage score of 2.5 when the chukker ended.

Second chukker had the account opened for team Bake House with the first goal by Sunny Patel. The scoreboard was now reflecting 3-3.5. Los Polistas was high on energy and Samir Suhag got one goal and Shyam Mehta contributed two goals to the team. Thus the scoreboard changed to 6-3.5, with Team Los Polistas on the lead, when the chukker ended.

The match moved into the third chukker. It did not prove to be fruitful for team Bake House as they did not bag any goals in the third chukker for the match. While on the other hand, Shyam Mehta for team Los Polistas secured one goal and increased their score to 7 from 6. With the score of 7-3.5, the third chukker ended.

The fourth and the final chukker was the last opportunity for team Bake House to buckle up and get the lead. Sunny Patel, was successful in getting the goal for the team and there were no other goals in the chukker for team Bake House. Whereas team Los Polistas had Samir Suhag and Chirag Parekh getting one goal each in favour for the team, and ultimately led to the victory when the chukker ended.

Atmosphere spiced up when the second match for the day came to action, after the ball was dropped into the field. The ponies at once pounced on it and the amazing match started. For team V Polo the opening goal was bagged by Krishna Inkiya, and was the only goal for their team in chukker 1. Team Sphiro opened their account and also won over the lead. The two goals for their team were bagged by Dhruvpal Godara and Raghav Rao. This ended the first chukker.

The excitement for the match continued when it entered into the second chukker. In this chukker the efforts by Dhruvpal Godara helped him contribute to team Sphiro and increased their score to 3. Krishna Inkiya and Basheer Ali from the opposite team added two goals to the total of their team, bagging one goal each. The scoreboard was now displaying 3 for team Sphiro and 3.5 for team V Polo. With this the second chukker ended.

The match became a close combat by the time it stepped into the third chukker. Both the teams were giving their best on the field. For the third chukker team V Polo recorded two goals bagged in by Krishna Inkiya and Basheerb Ali, changing their score to 5.5. On team Sphiro’s part the efforts came in from Dhruvapal Godara and Raghav Rao, where the former secured two goals and the latter one goal. By the end of the chukker the final scores were – 6-5.5.

The deciding chukker came into action and the teams exerted themselves to get the lead or maintain the lead. For the chukker each of the team secured one goal. For team Sphiro it was done by Dhruvpal Godara and for team V Polo it was done by Basheer Ali. And this ended the final chukker for the match and the day. Clearly the winning team was Team Sphiro who took it over with a score of 7-6.5.

The first match for the day started and the players were in no time, seen catching up the pace and the ball to get the lead. For team Los Polistas, Samir Suhag and Mitesh Mehta, each got one goal and turned their score to 2.5, while Dhruvpal Godara of team Sphiro bagged the opening goal. With this the first chukker ended.

The second chukker started off with Dhruvpal Godara gettingtwo goals for his team. Mitesh Mehta and Shyam Mehta secured one goal each adding up two goals in total to their team. the scoreboard now reflected 4.5-3 when the chukker ended.

The match stepped into the third chukker and both the teams bagged two goals each. For team Los Polistas it was again, Mitesh Mehta and Shyam Mehta making their contribution and for team Sphiro, Dhruvpal Godara and Raghav Rao did the same. At the end of the chukker the scores were 6.5-5 in favour for Los Polistas.

Moving on to the final chukker, the match had two goals by Dhruvpal Godara and Raghav Rao each for team Sphiro giving them the lead ad the victory as there were no goals by team Los Polistas in this chukker.

The first chukker for the day started when the ball was released on the ground. In no time the ponies speeded up, hunting down the ball. The chukker had team V Polo scoring two goals, brought by Nimit Mehta and Basheer Ali, while for team Madon Polo it was a dull chukker as no goals were secured by their team. With this the first chukker ended.

The match stepped into the second chukker which was entirely favourable for team Madon Polo who not only opened their account but also got the second goal for their team, both the goals were secured by Phil Seller. The players exerted hard but despite their efforts there were no goals for team V Polo and the chukker passed on with a score of 2-2.5.

The third chukker for the match started off in no time and team Madon Polo took the charge and the led way by getting 4 goals in the chukker, 1 by Phil Seller and 3 by Dinyar Madon. Talking about team V Polo, the third chukker too was unfavourable for them as they were not able to get any goals registered in their accounts. With a score of 6- 2.5 the third chukker came to an end.

The match entered into the final chukker but unfortunately it witnessed no goals by any of the teams, thus the scores did not change and were stuck on 6-2.5 till the chukker end and clearly the winners were the players from team Madon Polo.

The second match for the day came into action soon. The energetic players were all ready to set the ground on fire. Team Los Polistas got their first goal which was bagged in by Mitesh Mehta , while the opposite team, Bake House did not get any goals for themselves in the chukker, and with this the chukker ended.

The match stepped into the second chukker and this chukker too, did not witness any goals by team Bake House who still were lurking on 1.5, of the advantage they got. While on the other hand Los Polistas took in 5 goals, 3 by Mitesh Mehta and 2 by Chirag Parekh. With the scoreboard on 6-1.5 the chukker ended.

For the Third chukker team Los Polistas registered three goals for their teams. 2 goals were brought in by Samir Suhag and 1 by Shyam Mehta. Now their side of the scoreboard was weighing down by 9 goals against 1.5 of Bake House who in chukker 3 also did not get any goals for them. This winded up the third chukker.

In the final chukker, Mitesh Mehta was the only person from the field to get a goal, adding it up to the total score for team Los Polistas and made it 10 from 9. Team Bake House still was stuck with 1.5 when the match ended, making team Los Polistas the undisputed winner.
