Decorating Wrists Since 1851

The foundation of one of the finest swiss watch brand dates back to 180 years. It all started in 1839 when Geneva based Francois Czapek and Antoine Norbert de Patek together laid the stepping stone of one of the biggest watch house in the form of ‘ Patek Czapek & Cie.’ But this was not all. In 1844, Jean Adrien Philippe scripted and published a book - Keyless watches or winding and setting the time without keys which lead to his arrival at ‘Patek Czapek & Cie.’ and later in 1851 the brand got its new name- Patek Philippe & Cie.
From there it was no turning back. In 1868, the brand successfully curated the first Swiss wristwatch for Hungarian countess Koscowicz which lead to the making of the first chronograph watch in 1870. This was not all. The synonym of legacy and class in today’s world, did some iconic creations in past. Be it the first complicated ladies wristwatch or the start of the split-seconds chronograph, there is one constant name associated, Patek Philippe.
