Eight Teams Come Down To Battle | Day 3 Bhopal-Pataudi Cup
The day 3 of Bhopal-Pataudi Cup came with senses to seize the semi-finalist of the tournament who would compete on 25th Oct 2019 to find a position in the finals that will commence on 26th Oct 2019. With a spirit to become the semi finalist, all the four teams got into play, but who will make it! Let’s find out. Stay tuned with LA POLO !



GROUND I


MATCH 1: 61 Cavalry vs Jindal Panther

The first match of the started way before its scheduled time with the consent of both the teams and the committee.The first chukker of the match did not see any action on the scoreboard.

In the second chukker, the match was active enough to witness its first goal in the form of a penalty shot that was taken by Naveen Jindal at 30 yard. The scoreboard did not change any further for both the teams.

The third chukker finally started off to witness some action where Phil Seller from Jindal Panther opened up the chukker. This was followed by Lt Col Vishal Chauhan’s first goal for his team 61 Cavalry. Fighting back, it was once again Phil Seller who grabbed the third goal for Jindal Panther.

The last and the final chukker became the deciding chukker of the match, but was mostly and elaborately dominated by Jindal Panther with Naveen Jindal grabbing the first goal of the chukker. This was followed by a complementing goal of Simran Shergill. From 61 Cavalry, it was only Lt Col Vishal Chauhan who came to score the second goal for his team. At this the match wrapped in favor of Jindal Panther.

MATCH 2: Sona Polo vs Rajnigandha Achievers

The first chukker of the match had all the tension on the ground with both teams being competitive and equally settled in for the game. The first chukker saw more of defensive traits than goals. It was only a 30 yard penalty played by Naveen Singh that had the games’ first goal.The chukker saw no more goals. It was only in the last 10 seconds that Abhimanyu Pathak grabbed another goal for his team.

For the second chukker, team Rajnigandha Achievers came up with a defensive spirit. The chukker started off with Daniel Otamendi taking the lead and grabbing the first goal for his team. The chukker continued with a penalty shot in favor of Sona Polo which Abhimanyu Pathak unfortunately missed.The chukker stopped in for the regulative half time and continued with Daniel Otamendi once again at penalty strike for 40 yard. He turned this chance into a goal for his team. At this, he was counter attacked by Abhimanyu Pathak who took an almost solo shot in favor of his team. At this, the second chukker of the match wrapped with a call for the half time.

The third chukker started off with Daniel Otamendi once again in action. Bracketing two goals back to back for his team, Rajnigandha Achievers were now ahead with one goal. Equalling the goal once again, Abhimanyu Pathak from the scoreboard to 4 each.

The last chukker had the prophecy of being a tough shot. With the best of the strategy and the best of the ponies coming down for the battle, it was Pacho who took the first goal of the chukker. With this, Rajnigandha Achievers started to lead the game by one goal. But as competitive as it could get, Sona Polo grabbed two goals back to back with Abhimanyu Pathak in action. It was now Sona Polo that maintained the lead. The chukker saw more goals for with Daniel Otamendi in action. The last goal of the match was too in favor of Rajnigandha Achievers with once again Daniel Otamendi in action.

MATCH 1: Navy vs Sujan

The match started off between Navy and Sujan with team Navy getting an advantage of the 4 goals. Team Sujan had to work hard to get the score to an equivalent pace.

The first chukker started of with Cdr Akhil Sirphi’s 60 yard grabbing the first goal of the match. With this team Sujan faced severe pressure once again with 5 goals to nil. It was only in the dying seconds of the first chukker that Salim Azmi from team Sujan inaugurated the scoreboard for them.

The second chukker of the match started off with Dhananjay Singh taking the lead for his team. This was cordially complemented with Siddhant Sharma’s supportive move. This together uplifted the score to 3 goals for Sujan. This was answered back with one goal of Cdr AP Singh.

The third chukker started of with Salim Azmi’s move back to back with the second goal being a 30 yard penalty. This was once again complemented by Siddhant Sharma. At this, the chukker ended at an equivalent score.

The fourth and final chukker of the match had once again team Sujan in full action with Salim Azmi and Siddhant Sharma taking the lead. The chukker had Salim Azm in action for the first goal of the chukker, followed by two continuous goals by Siddhant Sharma.
