THE EMMYS 2017

The 69th Annual Emmy Awards was held on September 17, 2017 in California and CBS broadcasted it in the United States. The award show was hosted by Stephen Colbert, and all the nominations were said by Shemar Moore and Anna Chlumsky on July 13, 2017.
While ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ was the first web series to win an award, people also got to see the first American African, Donald Glover to win the trophy for the Comedy series. Lena With and Aziz Ansali were the ones who took it all for writing the comedy series. Lena is the first African American women to bag that award. The one who bagged sixth consecutive award in a row, also in the same category and role was Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
