ort Lauderdale, Florida, the "Yachting Capital of the World" hosted the largest in-water boat show in the world for the 58th time on November 1st to November 5th 2017. From multimillion dollar mega yachts to stand up paddle boards, the show highlighted range from yacht builders and designers to exotic cars and brokerage yachts.
A wide variety of boats were displayed including runabouts, sport fishers, high performance boats, center consoles, cabin cruisers, flat boats, skiffs, express cruisers, sailing yachts, motor yachts, bow riders, catamarans, ski boats, jet boats, trawlers, inflatables, canoes and extraordinary super yachts.
The Fort Lauderdale international boat Show, called #FLIBS for short was something people can’t miss to be present at. Apart from the charismatic boats displayed for the show there were impressively diverse, international crowd of buyers, sellers and new entrants to the boating community who came to see the latest global boating industry had to offer and to do business. Along with attracting a global audience of approximately 100,000 boating enthusiasts who shared a common interest in life on the water, there were 1000 exhibitors and more than 1,200 boats to be displayed this and every year in November at the show widely regarded as the industry’s top annual boating event .
The luxurious boat show was accompanied having high-end marine products and accessories to fishing gear, marine art, jewelry and more, all valued at more than $4 billion. There wereHook the Future kids’ fishing clinics where kids got a free rod/reel combo and plenty of other prizes. The Windward VIP Club Experience, located at the Hall of Fame Marina, offered the luxury of a private dining area, a premium open bar, gourmet food and meet-and-greet opportunities. There was scuba and free diving, lobstering and safety seminars, a huge selection of ocean-themed art featured by the BLUE WILD.
Well none the less people watched the world famous floating cocktail lounges with a ride to the show aboard free riverboats and water taxi transportation. It seemed like all the favorite shipyards and luxury providers were present and engaged with affluent customers looking for the next best sea voyage.
