HH Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia Gold Cup: Finals

he finals of HH Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia Cup took place on 25th, February between two longtime rivals: Jindal Panther/Sona Polo & Rajnigandha Achievers at the Rajasthan Polo Club. Jindal Panther/Sona Polo were in white while Rajnigandha Achievers were in Blue.Dhruvpal Godara & Vishal Singh were the match umpires while Col Ravi Rathore was the match referee.

Rajnigandha got off to a quick start and were leading by 3 goals to nil at the end of the first chukker thanks to goals by Perry (2) and another by Siddhant. Perry scored his third in the second before Simran scored the first for his team to make the score 4-1 by the end of the second chukker. Jindal Panther/ Sona Polo inspired by Simran Shergill, looked set to make a comeback as they got to within just one goal at the end of the third to make the score 5-4. However, two goals by Perry in the final chukker saw Rajnigandha Achievers get the victory and with it, the HH Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia Cup 2018.
