The Hurlingham Open resumed on 14 October. The third day of the Open had three matches scheduled at three different locations. The first match of the day, hosted by Ellerstina was between the host team and La Esquina Los Machitos. The match saw Ellerstina consistently outperforming their opponents across chukkers and securing a score progression of 2-0, 6-1, 7-3, 10-4, 13-5, 14-79 15-8.
The second match of the day was between La Dolfina & Chapeleufu at La Dolfina's Ranch. The 40 goal host trounced their opponents by bagging a score progression of 2-3, 4-3, 8-6, 10-7, 11-9, 14-10.
Held at the Hurlingham Polo Club, the third match of the day was an intense neck and neck match between La Albertina Abu Dhabi and Alegria. After a gruelling tug of war between the two teams, Alegria won marginally with a score progression of 1-1, 1-1, 2-1, 3-3, 3-4, 5-4, 7-7, 8-7.
The tournament progressed on 17 October, with four matches lined up for the day. The first match between Cria Yatay and Ellerstina proved to be a magnificent win for Ellerstina. For the second match La Dolfina took to the ground and defeated La Irenita with a score of 17-4. The third match saw La Dolfina Polo Ranch winning against La Esquina at 14-6. The final match of the day had La Albertina playing against Chapeleufu and narrowly winning with a score of 11-10.
The fifth day of the Hurlingham open had another four matches lined up. The first two matches of the day were held at Pilar between Cria Yatay & La Esquina Los Machitos, where Cria Yatay had a 11-7 win, and between La Irenita & Chapleufu, where in Chapaleufu lost to La Irenita by a score of 15-13. While the first two matches of the day determined the team's ranking for the Triple Crown, the next two matches were semi-finals. The first of the semi finals were between Ellerstina and La Aguada Las Monjitas, where Ellerstina narrowly won with a score of 12-11. But the most surprising was the final match of the day between La Dolfina and Alegria, where in the legendary 40 goal team was defeated by their 35 goal opponents Alegria to qualify for the finals.
