With the second tournament of the season galloping towards the end, the Jaipur Polo Ground, New Delhi was all set for the semifinals where four teams who participated in the Sawai Man Singh Gold Vase will be seen against each other. The first semifinal was fixed between Sphiro/Horse & Wagon and Aravali Polo.

The first match of the day started as soon as the clock struck 12. The match would give us the first finalist of the Sawai Man Singh Gold Vase. Getting into the game all of the eight polo players got ready with their polo ponies, mallets and sharp into the saddle. The match went rolling and capturing the first goal for the semifinal was grabbed by Angad Kalaan. Soon after his goal, Manuel F Llorente complemented the scoreboard for Aravali Polo. The match went ahead and in a 30 yard penalty, Angad Kalaan bracketed the third goal for the match.

Into the second chukker of the first semifinal it was Gerardo Mazzini who in a 40 yard penalty seized the first goal for his team Sphiro/ Horse & Wagon. He in a 60 yard penalty seized yet another goal for the team.

The third chukker of the match began.with Raghav Rao on strike for team Aravali Polo. Next, in a spot hit, Manuel F Llorente seized the fifth goal. Following this was Mazzini who had two back to back goals for the team Sphiro/ Horse & Wagon. The first goal was gotten in a long run while the other was a result of the 40 yard penalty. The last chukker of the match had both the teams in full swing. The chukker started with Angad Kalaan grabbing the sixth goal. This was followed by Gerardo Mazzini seizing the fifth goal for his team. In the very next move, Dhruvpal Godara had the equalizer for the team. But in a 60 yard penalty Manuel F Llorente seized the winning goal for Aravali Polo.

The second match started off with a 60 yard penalty in favor of Sujan which was taken by Siddhant Sharma. Moving ahead, with a spot hit penalty Daniel Otamendi seized the equalizer for Golden Globe Hotels.

The third chukker changed the state of the scoreboard where team Golden Globe Hotels scored three back to back goals with Daniel Otamendi on strike for the third goal. The next two following goals were bracketed by Padmanabh Singh, Maharaja of Jaipur. Moving ahead, Siddhant Sharma answered back by marking the third goal for team Sujan. The last goal of the chukker was seized in a 60 yard penalty by Daniel Otamendi.

The last chukker would give us the second finalist after Aravali Polo. With the chukker going into play, Siddhant Sharma in a 40 yard penalty grabbed the fourth goal for his team Sujan. Moving ahead, Daniel Otamendi in a hustle seized in the seventh goal for Golden Globe Hotels. It now looked impossible for team Sujan to make a comeback. But Siddhant Sharma in a spot hit had the fifth goal for Sujan. With just 1 minute remaining on the clock, Siddhant Sharma seized the sixth goal.
