Hermes Cubs surmounts Hermes Colts to claim the Trophy. The brothers’ duo of R.K Kartikeya Singh and R.K. Janmejai Singh led the Colts as Bh. Hemendra Singh and Bh. Nikhlendra Singh roared for the Cubs!

THE LAST DAY OF THE 20TH JODHPUR POLO SEASON ENDS WITH AN IGNITING FINALS CLASH OF THE HERMES CUP!

The Finals of the first tournament of the season, The Hermes Cup was played to conclude the exciting and entertaining 20th Jodhpur Polo Season, 2019. The Final was battled out between Hermes Cubs and Hermes Colts. The players were introduced as Hermes Colts in orange was ready to take on Hermes Cubs in black. Mr. Pep Singh and Bh. Raghvendra Singh were the umpires and Col. Umaid Singh was the referee for the match. Th. Abhijeet Singh Rohet was the commentator for the day.

The match started with a +0.5 goal advantage for Hermes Cubs. The fiery action commenced from the first chukker itself as it was all the passionate youngsters of the season who were on the field against each other. R.K. Kartikeya Singh scored two goals for the Colts taking full control of the ball from one end to another. Bh. Hemendra Singh started off aggressively scoring the opener for the Cubs with another one added by the Senior Mr. Nicholas Schortichini as the scores at end of first chukker were:

The second chukker had the Cubs roaring on the upfront as Bh. Nikhlendra Singh skillfully and swiftly moved with the ball to score two beautiful goals with the elder brother Bh. Hemendra Singh supporting the team with another hitting goal to take the Cubs on a comfortable lead in the finals. No goal was scored for the Colts winding the second chukker scores at:

The third chukker had the Colts in the momentum and showing a finals come-back performance. R.K. Kartikeya Singh converted two delightful passes forwarded by the elder brother R.K. Janmejai Singh into goals as Mr. Vinay Mewara added another running goal to close the gap for the Colts. No goal was scored for the Cubs with the scores standing at:

The fourth and final chukker began with the Hermes Cubs snatching the charge of the day again to their side. Mr. Sharwan Singh scored a goal for the Cubs. Hemendra Singh dominated the day with adding another two goals for the Cubs and deciding their victory to conquer the Finals Glory by overcoming the Hermes Colts by an overall score of 8.5 to 5. The final scoreboard was:

Olaf Gurrand Hermes with his family and H.H. Maharaja Gaj Singhji of Jodhpur were the Eminent guests for the day and graced the felicitations to award the trophy and prizes to the winning and runner up teams.
