The last league match of the IPA NATIONAL POLO CHAMPIONSHIP OPEN has Sona Polo and Sahara Warriors against each other. With this day coming, the finalists of the Open Championship will be decided.

The first chukker of the IPA NATIONAL POLO CHAMPIONSHIP OPEN day 3 opened with Padmanabh Singh taking a tough run through the goal post to grab the first goal of the match. Equalizing the match scores was Angad Kalaan, who with the support of his team, passed the ball through the goal post. Following ahead was Chris Mackenzie who took a 30 yard penalty in favor of his team. With this, Sahara Warriors was lead by one goal, but soon Gerardo Mazzini took a 60 yard penalty shot in favor of Sona Polo. With this the scores equalized but Mazzini went in again again for a 40 yard penalty. At this, Sona Polo was in the lead with 3 goals to 2.

The second chukker went into play and did not see much action happening. The chukker just witnessed one goal from Chris Mackenzie.

Getting into the third chukker, it was Siddhant Sharma who took the first lead and grabbed the fourth goal for the team. Moving ahead with it was Gerardo Mazzini with 60 yard penalty. Once again keeping the competition neck to neck was Padmanabh Singh from team Sona Polo. This was counter attacked by Chris Mackenzie's spot penalty.

The chukker went ahead and in the last seconds witnessed a goal by Angad Kalaan. The chukker once again rested at 7 goals each.

The fifth chukker started off with a penalty shot at 60 yard penalty with Mazzini on strike. This marked the eighth goal for Sona Polo. Soon after this, Chris Mackenzie struck the equalizing score from Sahara Warriors. Getting ahead in the game was once again Sahara Warriors with Chris Mackenzie grabbing another goal in a cut shot. This was followed by him, again in action to grab the tenth goal of the chukker. After a series of pass, hooking and hustle, Abhimanyu Pathak, the star player of Sona Poli grabbed the ninth goal for the team.

Getting into the last chukker, the action remained low key on the scoreboard. It was only in the second chukker that Mazzini took a clean cut shot and answering it back was Chris Mackenzie who brought the team in lead with 11 goals to 10. With this Sahara Warriors won the match.
