Syed Shamsheer Ali fell in the early minutes of the match that gets forfeited; both the player and pony are safe. Following this, both teams played a 3-chukker exhibition match showing the spirit for the game and spectators!

LOS POLISTAS FORFEITS THE MATCH AGAINST POLOFACTORY CHANDNA AS SAHARA WARRIORS DEFEATS KRISHNA POLO HERITAGE AT THE RAJPUTANA & CENTRAL INDIA CUP (10 Goals), 20TH JODHPUR POLO SEASON, 2019!

The third day at the Rajputana & Central India Cup (10 Goals) Sponsored by Cello World, 20th Jodhpur Polo Season, 2019 had two matches scheduled to be played. The first match was to be played between Los Polistas and Polofactory Chandna. The players were introduced as Los Polistas in blue was ready to take on Polofactory Chandna in yellow. In the early minutes of the first chukker, Syed Shamsheer Ali had a fall from his pony and was unable to continue for the match as a result the match was forfeited for Los Polistas granting a semifinal qualification for Polofactory Chandna. Showing Sportsmanship and spirit for the game, both teams played an exhibition match for the anticipated audience. Mr. Nicholas Scortichini, who was the umpire for the match, took the responsibility and substituted Shamsheer Ali to play for Los Polistas. Mr. Dhananjay Choudhary and Mr. Simran Singh Shergill were the umpires and Kr. Dhananjay Singh Rathore was the referee for the match. Mr. Ankur Mishra was the commentator for the day.

The first chukker commenced with Mr. Jaiveer Sinh Gohil scoring the first for Los Polistas. Attempts were missed by Mr. Gerardo Mazzini and Mr. Vikramaditya Singh as no goal was scored for Polofactory Chandna. The first chukker scores were:

SECOND MATCH: KRISHNA POLO HERITAGE V/S SAHARA WARRIORS

 

 

The second match of the day was played between Krishna Polo Heritage in blue and Sahara Warriors in white. Mr. Nicholas Scortichini and Mr. Dhruvpal Godara were the umpires and Kr. Dhananjay Singh Rathore, the referee for the match.

The match started with a +0.5 goal lead awarded to Sahara Warriors. Daniel Otamendi took the charge early in the first chukker scoring two goals for the Warriors as no goal was scored for Krishna Polo Heritage having the scores at the end of first chukker at:

The second chukker got exciting as the action roared with hustles and attempts. Abhimanyu Pathak took the ball strikingly amongst strikingly hot tussle to score a hitting goal for Krishna Polo. Syed Basheer Ali put on a view of his tactical game to score for Warriors winding second chukker scores at:

The third chukker had the competition escalated as Abhimanyu Pathak scored another lovely goal for Krishna Polo. But it was the Warriors who had the drive for the day as Syed Basheer Ali and Kuldeep Singh added one goal each for their team as the scorecard stood at:

The fourth and final chukker had the possessions to and fro between both the teams attempting and defending equally strong as no goal could be scored by either team. Sahara Warriors thus overpowering Krishna Polo Heritage by 5.5 goals to 2 as the final scores had:
