The Cup was last played in 2016 at Jaipur Polo Ground, where the finals was battled between Delhiites Magazine and Sona Polo. The final match of the Maharaja Hari Singh Memorial Cup 2016 was won by Delhiites Magazine by 4-3.

Maharaja Hari Singh Memorial Cup was established in 1995 in the memory of Maharaja Hari Singh of Jammu and Kashmir. The cup was institutionalised to pay homage to the Maharaja. This year the cup will be played after a year’s gap.
