Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia Gold Cup Day Two In Action

 

After the happening day of yesterday, the Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia Gold Cup galloped into the second day of the tournament. Four teams came down to battle it out.

The first chukker of the match had a kick start reflection on the scoreboard. In less than a minute, the scoreboard was talking numbers in favour of team Empire Alcobrev where the opening goal was struck by Sawai Padmanabh Singh, the Maharaja of Jaipur. With this, the team was in lead, but it was short lived as in a spot hit, Gerardo Mazzini seized the equalizer for his team Sona-Sujan. He was quickly complemented by his fellow player Abhimanyu Pathak who had the second goal in favor of his team.

Following into the next chukker, both the teams came down for a competitive face off. The sun shining right on the head of the ground was making the weather beautiful for the game with some light breeze. In this, Chris Mackenzie, in a 40 yard penalty shot grabbed the second goal for the team Empire Alcobrev. Now, the scoreboard stood with equivalent scores once again. Galloping into the game a little further, Gerardo Mazzini cut off the equivalent score and the team now lead by one goal.

The second match started off with Angad Kalaan taking the lead. The match went into play with Garcha Hotels taking on the lead. He was answered back by Phil Seller who grabbed the first goal for Jindal Panther.

Into the second chukker of the second match of the day, Manuel F Llorente seized the second goal for Garcha Hotels. The chukker did not witness any more goals further.

The third chukker of the match had some similar fate. The chukker witnessed just one goal like the second one in favor of Garcha Hotels once again. In action was Angad Kalaan who seized the third goal for the Garcha Hotels. The team was now in lead with two goals.

The chukker had some major action from the match. The Arjuna Awardee, Simran Singh Shergill was the first one to grab the goal for Jindal Panther. His move was followed by Angad Kalaan. Answering it back was Phil Seller who grabbed two goals back to back for Jindal Panther. The last goal of the chukker was struck by Angad Kalaan.
