H.H. MAHARAJA OF JODHPUR CUP : DAY 2

nder the patronage of H.H. Maharaja held by Jodhpur Polo and Equestrian Club Institution, Jodhpur under the Jodhpur Polo Season 2017,in Maharaja Gaj Singh Sports Foundation Polo Ground, Airport Road, Pabupura, two matches were played on the second day of the H.H. Maharaja of Jodhpur Cup tournament. The first match was played at 2.30 pm between Sahara Warriors and Polo Factory and the second match was played between 3.30 pm between Carysil and Bedla Polo.

In the first match, Sahara Warriors won by seven goals to two and a half, and in the second match, Bedla Polo won by ten goals to four. Jodhpur Polo and Chief Guardian of the Equestrian Club Institution ,Maharaja Gaj Singh was also present during the match.

Colonel Ummed Singh, Honorary Secretary of Jodhpur Polo and Equestrian Club Institution said that Dhananjay Singh was the only player of the Polo Factory team playing with the initial lead of half goal in the first match. Dhananjay scored one goal in the third and one in the fourth chukker. Playing for Sahara Warriors in the match, Abhimanyu Pathak of five handicap displayed a brilliant game, scoring five goals alone, Pathak scored two goals in the first and second chukker and two goals in the second chukker.

In the second match played in the afternoon, Chirag Parikh of the Carysil team scored two goals in the first chukker and Sameer Suhag scored one goal in the third chukker and Sanya Suhag scored four goals in the fourth chukker. In the match, Patron of Petalow Polo team Himmat Singh Bedla also performed brilliantly and scored a total of five goals. Bedla scored a goal in the second and fourth chukker and two in the third chukker. The 2+ handicap player of the team Bhavani singh Kalvi scored two goals in the second chukker and Uday Kalan had also scored one goal in the second chukker.
