The Delhi Polo Season is in its full swing in the national capital. With some of the best polo players coming down to play, the second day of the SMS Gold Vase was commenced into action.

 

Match 1

The first match of the day had Jindal Panther and Aravali Polo against each other. With Aravali Polo having one victory in their bag already, it was Jindal Panther that had the maximum pressure. With this, both the polo teams entered the match and in a spot hit, Naveen Jindal grabbed the first goal in favor of their team. The match moved ahead and it was Angad Kalaan who grabbed the goal for Aravali Polo. Complementing this goal, it was Manuel F Llorente who seized the third goal of the match marking the second for his team.

Getting into the second chukker, both the teams intensified their speed and pace. But in a spot hit, it was Manuel F Llorente who grabbed the third goal for Aravali Polo. Moving ahead, Angad Kalaan seized the fourth goal for the team.

Moving into the third chukker, Cdr Akhil Sirohi was replaced by Mahesh Kumar. The chukker only had one goal with Angad Kalaan on strike in the very last minutes.

The last chukker of the match had Angad Kalaan seizing the sixth goal for the team. Aravali Polo were maintaining a major lead and it wasn't going to be easy for Jindal Panther. Although Simran Singh Shergill was still able to bracket two goals for his team but they were not sufficient. The match ended in favor of Aravali Polo.

The second match of the day had team ASC Col Girdhari Singh Memorial and Sujan against each other. As the match started, in no time, Shamsher Ali grabbed the first goal. In the next minutes, Shamsher Ali grabbed yet another goal in a 40 yard penalty. Moving ahead with the game, it was Aryaman Dahiya who grabbed the first goal for Sujan. The match went ahead and just when the chukker was about to end, Abhimanyu Pathak grabbed the equivalent score.

The second chukker of the match went into play and in no time, Naveen Singh grabbed the third goal for the team in 40 yard penalty. Getting the pace now was Shamsher Ali. In a solo run, he seized the fourth goal for the match. The match went ahead and just like the first chukker, in the very last seconds, Abhimanyu Pathak grabbed the third goal for his team.

The third chukker of the match got into action with Abhimanyu Pathak on strike at a 40 yard penalty. The chukker moved ahead and before half time, Naveen Singh grabbed the fifth chukker. Equalizing the scoreboard once again, Abhimanyu Pathak in a solo run seized a goal. In no time, team Sujan grabbed the sixth goal and came into lead with Siddhant Sharma on strike.

The last and the final chukker of the match had in action Naveen Singh once again. He grabbed the sixth goal for the team. Siddhant Sharma answered it back. This was followed by Shamsher Ali seizing the next goal. Once again Siddhant Sharma grabbed a goal. Shamsher Ali seized the 40 yard penalty into a goal and then finally in a 60 yard penalty Siddhant Sharma brought victory for team Sujan.

The last match of the day started off with a 40 yard penalty where Daniel Otamendi seized the chance and grabbed the goal. The match went ahead and Col Ravi Rathore in a long hit seized the second goal of the match and first for team Cavalry. Soon after this, Anirudh Mawaji from Golden Globe Hotels had an opportunity to grab the second goal for the team. Daniel Otamendi soon after this caught the third goal for Golden Globe Hotels.

Opening up with the second chukker, Daniel Otamendi seized the fourth goal for the team. Padmanabh Singh, Maharaja of Jaipur, went ahead and grabbed another one for his team. At this, 61 Cavalry seized their second goal with Col Ravi Rathore in action.
