Power Infraestructure Lift The Coveted XV Julio Novillo Astrada Cup

The final of the XV Novillo Astrada Cup was played on 1st November 2018 between Power Infraestructure and El Milagro Polo team. The match was played at La Aguada Polo Club in Open Door, Argentina. The XV Novillo Astrada Cup is the opening competition of the 2018 Argentina Polo Season. Following the rain delay, the final of the XV Novillo Astrada cup was played on a spectacular sunny spring day, ideal to spend with family and friends while enjoying good Polo.

Power Infraestructure played with Miguel Mendoza (+1), Valerio Zubiaurrre (+8), Alejandro Muzzio (+8) and Tomás Beresford (+5). El Milagro on the other hand comprised of Federico Tomasevich (+1), Francisco Irastorza (+6), Santiago Solari (+6) and Ignacio Novillo Astrada (+9). El Milagro featured three changes: Benjamin Araya (+6) filled in for Santiago Solari; Eduardo Novillo Astrada Jr (+8) replaced Ignacio Novillo Astrada; and Gonzalo Lozano (+2) took Federico Tomasevich’s place.

First half of the championship match between Power Infraestructure and El Milagro was very close and balanced with three consecutive ties. But Power Infraestructure dominated the second half completely and the next three chukkas belonged to Power Infraestructure. They scored enough goals to turn the game in their favor.
