Silver Cup 2020 | A Quick Update

 

 

 

 

The Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series 2020 started off on 24th January 2020 with the Silver Cup. The tournament started off with two matches scheduled for the first day. The debutant team AM/UAE Polo went against UAE Polo on the first day where AM/UAE Polo seized the day to its name with 13.5 goals to 10.

Moving ahead with the second match of the first day, Habtoor Polo and Ghantoot Polo came against each other in a play off. After a really closely tied match, Habtoor Polo was able to have victory for itself with just a difference of a goal. The match rested at 10 goals to 9.

The second day of the Silver Cup 2020 opened up for just one match scheduled. Teams Zedan Polo and Dubai Wolves went into the match to battle it out against each other. As close as it could get, the scoreboard had the anticipation high for all the viewers. The day although ended in favor of Zedan Polo with 9 goals to 7 defeating Dubai Wolves.

Stepping into Day 3 of Silver Cup 2020 the debutant team AM/UAE Polo once again had the day in its favor. Going against team Ghantoot Polo, AM/UAE Polo grabbed victory by just a goal. Speeding from a tough competition, the match ended with 8 goals to 7.

On the fourth day of the Silver Cup 2020, the schedule had two matches fixed for the day. The first match had Habtoor Polo and Zedan Polo against each other where, by just a difference of one goal, Habtoor Polo had the day to themselves. The scoreboard for the first match of the day rested at 10 goals to 9 against Zedan Polo.
The second match of the day on the other hand was scheduled between UAE Polo and Dubai Wolves. As the match galloped in pace, UAE Polo started to dominate the game. By the end, it was obvious with the scoreboard that UAE Polo came out victorious with 13.5 goals to 9.

The sixth day of the Silver Cup was out of a quest to reach into the semi-finals of the Silver Cup 2020. The day had AM/UAE Polo and Zedan Polo against each other in for a match, while the other one had Ghantoot Polo and Dubai Wolves in a play off.

Into the semifinals of the Silver Cup, four teams came down to battle against each other, where after the two best teams came down as finalists. Here is a quick recap of the day.
