he Finals of the prestigious Sir Pratap Singh Cup was held at the Jaipur Polo Grounds on Sunday 12th November. The 14 goal tournament had Sahara Warriors playing against Jindal Panther. Jindal Panther had Shamsheer Ali (6+), Simran Shergil (6+), Pranav Kapur (+2) & Naveen Jindal (0), their competition, Sahara Warriors featured Sawai Padmanabh Singh (+2), Siddhant Sharma (+3), Matthew Perry (+6) and Satinder Garcha (+3).
The match started out wit Shamsheer Ali scoring 2 goals in quick succession and gaining a lead for his team. The seasoned Jindal Panthers ensured that their team maintains the lead by preventing their opponents every attempt at scoring. It was only in the second chukker that Siddhnat Sharma could score the first goal for Sahara Warriors. While there on Sahar Warriors did attempt to recover, but after several missed goals, it was apparent that Jindal Panther were well on their way to victory. After a brilliant final goal by Shamsheer Ali, Jindal Panther took the title with a score of 8-5.
