The first day of the 10 goal Baroda Cup had two matches fixed for the day where the first match took place at the AEC Ground, New Delhi while the second match was scheduled to get in action at the Jindal Polo Ground, Noida.

 

Match 1: APRC vs Rajnigandha Achievers

The first match of the day started of with Basheer Ali grabbing the first goal of the tournament. His move was quickly answered back by Gaurav Sahgal, who struck the ball to bottle the first goal for APRC. This was followed by Daniel Otamendi bagging the second goal for the team and almost complementing the team move, the umpire called for a 40 yard penalty in favor of Rajnigandha Achievers. At this, Daniel Otamendi grabbed the third goal for the team.

The second chukker of the match did not see any changes on the scoreboard for APRC team. Although for Rajnigandha Achievers the scoreboard was in motion with Daniel Otamendi taking the lead for the fourth goal. Soon after this, he grabbed the fifth goal in form of 30 yard penalty. This was complemented by Basheer Ali taking the next goal.

The third chukker for was unlikely to that of the second. Team APRC grabbed a goal in favor of themselves but other team stayed with the same score.

Moving ahead was team APRC grabbing the third goal with Angad Kalaan in action. This was followed by Basheer Ali grabbing the seventh goal in form of spot hit penalty. The match ended with Daniel Otamendi grabbing the next and the last goal of the match.
