After the first tournament of the Delhi Spring Polo Season came to an end, it was time to line up with the 10 goal SMS Gold Vase. With three matches aligned for the day, some fierce battle was set to begin.

The first clash of the day had Golden Globe Hotels and Aravali Polo against each other. Starting off with the match it was Angad Kalaan who seized the first goal of the 10 goal tournament. The chukker did not witness any further changes in the scoreboard.

Coming in terms with the speed of the game, the chukker went ahead in motion. Carrying the game from where it ended it was once again team Aravali Polo grabbing the goal. This time, it was Manuel F Llorente who seized the second goal for the team. Answering it back, Padmanabh Singh, Maharaja of Jaipur had in his control the chance to bracket the first goal for the Golden Globe Hotels polo team. As if in a pattern, Manuel F Llorente seized the third goal for Aravali Polo. The chukker rested at this.

After the half time, the teams came out refreshed. In a 40 yard penalty, Aravali Polo with Manuel F Llorente grabbed the fourth goal for the team. But team Golden Globe Hotels did not wait for any more chances. With Daniel Otamendi and Kuldeep Singh Rathore in action back to back, both grabbed one goal each for the team respectively.

This chukker could make it or break it from either of the teams. While Angad Kalaan scored the fifth goal for his team, it seemed that the fate is in favor of the Aravalis'. But soon after, Daniel Otamendi in two consecutive penalties grabbed two back to back with 30 and 40 yard respectively. The scoreboard stood at an equivalent score now and with this the hooter rang. It was now time for the golden goal

The extra chukker had started and it was time to witness who would seize the victory of the first match of the 10 goal tournament. The pressure was high and so was the speed. In a galloping pattern, Angad Kalaan from Aravali Polo had the golden goal under his name and with this, Aravali Polo lifted the title of the winners of the first match of the day.

The first chukker of the second match of the started off in full swing with Jindal Panther taking the lead. The first goal of the second match was grabbed by Phil Seller. Moving ahead it was Arjuna Awardee, Simran Singh Shergill who seized the second goal. Complementing the move, Phil Seller grabbed the third goal for the team.

The second chukker had the speed of the game going to a higher extent. While Jindal Panther was going above the board with 3 goals, 61 Cavalry haven't started off yet. The second chukker could have been their domain. In two back to back 40 yard penalty, Col Ravi Rathore seized two goals for the team and the game came to some equals.

With the third chukker rolling in, 61Cavalry normalised the scoreboard to equals with Lt Col Vishal Chauhan on strike for the third goal.

Opening the fourth chukker of the game, it was Lt Col Vishal Chauhan who grabbed the fourth goal for the match. Moving ahead, it was once again 61 Cavalry who seized the goal with Col Ravi Rathore on strike. In the next move, Lt Col Vishal Chauhan grabbed the next goal. With a 30 yard penalty, Simran Singh Shergill seized the last goal of the match.

The third match of the first day of SMS Gold Vase had Sujan and Sphiro/ Horse & Wagon against each other. In no time of the match in action, Siddhant Sharma was seen taking the 40 yard penalty. He turned it into the first goal. In the next move, he once again grabbed a goal for his team Sujan. Moving ahead, it was Gerardo Mazzini who opened the scoreboard for his team Sphiro/ Horse & Wagon.

The second chukker had in action Abhimanyu Pathak for the third goal. This was answered by Buchi Prakash where he grabbed the second goal for the team. Following the pattern was Gaurav Sahgal where he seized the fourth goal for the team.

The third chukker of the match began with Maj Apurva Dabhade who was playing instead of Sep Sunil Kumar. He bracketed the third goal for team Sphiro/ Horse & Wagon. Into the action of the third chukker, it was Abhimanyu Pathak who grabbed the fifth goal for his team.

Getting with the fourth chukker it was Siddhant Sharma who opened the scoreboard for the chukker for his team Sujan. It marked the sixth goal for the team. Following with the pace of team Sujan, it was Gerardo Mazzini who in a 60 yard penalty grabbed the fourth goal in favor of his team. With this, the game went rolling ahead with Mazzini grabbing the fifth goal for team Sphiro/ Horse & Wagon. The fate changed and Mazzini grabbed the sixth goal. The scoreboard rested with 6 goals each.
