R.K. Janmejai Singh and Bh. Hemendra Singh sets up the victory for Umaid Bhawan Palace!
The finals of the third tournament of the 20th Jodhpur Polo Season 2019 was played between Umaid Bhawan Palace and Mayo College at Maharaja Gaj Singh Sports Foundation Polo Ground, Jodhpur. The Mehrangarh Band welcomed the audience that was excited to witness the finals between the top two teams that have played the tournament. The players were introduced by Mr. Ankur Mishra, the commentator for the match as Mayo College in yellow was ready to take Umaid Bhawan Palace in orange. Mr. Jaiveer Sinh Gohil was the umpire and Kr. Dhananjay Singh Rathore was the referee for the match.

The first chukker started with Umaid Bhawan Palace showing their attacking skills at their best. The first goal was scored by Bh. Hemendra Singh in the very first minute. R.K. Janmejai Singh went on to score a hat-trick with his third goal was converted on a spot penalty by a lovely ground shot. Hemendra Singh missed a spot penalty as Kr. The second chukker was a delightful display of shots and tackles by both the teams. Hemendra Singh missed two spot penalty shots for Umaid Bhawan Palace as R.K. Janmejai Singh scored a hat-trick to maintain the lead for the team. For Mayo College, Vishwaraj Singh moved beautifully on the field as he went on to score a hat-trick, third of which was a spot penalty taken from their end with a striking hot long shot that went on to roll straight away on the opposition goal post. The third chukker was dominated by Umaid Bhawan Palace. Mr. Vinay Mewara came as a substitution for Mr. Sharwan Singh and scored two goals. Hemendra Singh went on to play aggressively and scored six goals with a very well coordinated team work with Vinay Mewara and lovely pass shots by Janmejai Singh. Mr. Heervijay Singh was substituted for Mr. Kushraj Singh for Mayo College. Vishwaraj Singh scored one goal for Mayo College winding the third chukker at score:

Janmejai Singh started off the fourth and final chukker with a early goal and went on to score three goals more. The young Mayoite Heervijay Singh scored an elegant goal for his team as the experienced Mr. Pep Singh added another one for Mayo College. The match was a tough battle between both the teams but the final scores had a one sided victory for Umaid Bhawan Palace by 19 goals to 7 goals of Mayo College to conquer the finals trophy.
