BSF and Mayo College defeated their rivals on the 3rd day of Umaid Bhawan Palace Cup.
BSF defeated Umaid Bhawan Palace in the first match. BSF was leading the match by half a goal from the starting and scored more five goals against Umaid Bhawan Palace and won the match by the difference of just half a goal. Aditya Pratap Singh scored one goal in the second and one goal in the third chukker and Bhanwar Janmajay Singh scored one goal in first second and third chukker each for BSF. From Umaid Bhawan Palace’s side, Bhanwar Nikhilendra Singh scored three goals in the third chukker and Gunner Rajkumar scored one and Vishwaraj Singh scored one goal against BSF.
In the second match between Mayo College and Artillery, Artillery was leading the match in the starting by 1 goal but Mayo College scored 8 goals against 3 goals from Artillery and won the match by the difference of five goals. Mayo College’s Parakram Singh scored gained two points on the scoreboard in the second chukker, Nikhilendra Singh scored two goals in the second and third chukker each and Hemendra Singh scored two in the first chukker. For Artillery, Prithviraj Singh scored one goal in the first chukker and Lt. Col. Ashish Samentre scored one in the second chukker. BSF’s Janmajay Singh and Mayo College’s Nikhilendra Singh were considered as the Most Valuable Players.
